In an age of science, students’ faith in God grows as they are introduced to the foundational concepts of chemistry. Studies include: introduction to the world of chemistry, states of matter, matter & change, gas laws, atomic structure, bonding, stoichiometry, nomenclature, kinetic theory, solutions, equilibrium, thermodynamics and acid-base chemistry. Classes consist of lectures, discussions, and laboratory activities.
Prerequisite: Biology & Algebra 1
