SCI 305 -
This highly rigorous, accelerated course will provide students the opportunity to study the composition, properties and and changes associated with matter, atomic structure, bonding, the periodic table, formulas, equations, mole concept, gas laws, reactions, solutions, equilibrium systems, and oxidation/reduction reactions while developing an understanding of the complexity of God's physical universe. Laboratory activities that include the use of the scientific method, measurement, laboratory apparatus and safety are an integral part of this course. This course provides extensive research and writing opportunities as well as math practice focusing on applying critical thinking and logical reasoning skills.
